Week 6: the city you live in

52 weeks of gratitude challenge

Week6: the city you live in 🌆

I'm so blessed I live in Calgary. For me, it is generally a peaceful place. A city full of diversity and culture. I love it when it's summer time, because there are so many fun activities around the city. 🌞

I have researched some interesting facts about Calgary to back up why I am blessed to be living here: 😊

1. Calgary makes the sunniest city in Canada, receiving 2600 hrs per year. 🌞 I've been living here for almost 6 years and I totally agree with this. Even during winter time, the sun will still shine so bright. Sometimes it's so deceiving because it's so bright but the temperature is actually -10°C or less. ❄

2. Calgary has an altitude of 3800 ft. This is above average of other Canadian cities, thus making it neither too hot nor cold. I also agree with this. 😊 For 6 years, I had an experienced of -40°C with windchill but in other cities, it's worst. ❄

3. Also, it is mentioned there that Calgary is top 5 most livable city in the world. It is ranked among the top cities in quality of life. 🙌

4. Other than that, in my opinion, Calgary has a lot of good places to visit. Some of my favorites are The Calgary Zoo, the Heritage Park and it's downtown has some of the most best places to dine with.

I thank God for bringing me here. I never had a plan or even intention in going here to Canada. I was happy with my life and my work in the Philippines but He called me here and brought me here. I am forever grateful for bringing me to a good city called Calgary. 💕
